THE ATTITUDE LAWS OF JESUS
Part 1: Where Transformation Begins |
|
|
Jesus unveiled the Kingdom of God and introduced
“attitude laws” – spiritual expectations that form the core identity
of every kingdom citizen. Entry into the Kingdom of God requires
faith in Jesus as Messiah, and growth within it requires the inward
transformation only the Holy Spirit can accomplish. Discipleship
begins internally and the Holy Spirit must reshape the believer’s
attitudes so that outward obedience becomes the natural fruit of an
inwardly renewed life. These laws reflect the character of Jesus who
embodies perfect love, humility that rejects pride, forgiveness that
extends mercy, reconciliation to repair breaches, and purity of
heart in relation to holiness. These attitude laws cannot be
fulfilled by sheer willpower or moral imitation, but are only
possible through surrender to the Holy Spirit, who empowers
believers to live out these kingdom attitudes. As believers embrace
these inner laws, they increasingly reflect the character of Christ
and live as citizens of His kingdom. |
