CONFORMING TO CHRIST'S DOCTRINE |

The early automotive industry could not function
without precise, universal measurements; similarly, the church
falters when Christians create personalized doctrines,
denominational identities, or selectively follow Jesus’ teachings.
Carl Johansson’s gauge blocks became the global standard because
their excellence left the world with no alternative. In the same
way, Christ’s doctrine stands as the only valid foundation for His
church. The transformation of Peter and John parallels the
meticulous lapping of gauge blocks to make surfaces so smooth that
they stick to each other. Likewise, time in the presence of Christ
produces believers who reflect His character. Church leaders have a
tendency to pick and choose doctrines, but Jesus established
non-negotiable commandments, fulfilled the sacrificial system, and
upheld the validity of the Mosaic law and the prophets. He also
introduced “attitude laws” which are only capable of being kept
through the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit. |
