The most frightening thought a human being can have, is the thought of being abandoned by God. God is truth, light, love, mercy, judgment and salvation from our sins, and only God can give man eternal life in heaven.  1 John 1:4-10; Revelation 20:10-15

NO HUMAN BEING CAN BE SAVED, UNLESS GOD DRAWS THEM!
In order to be saved, a person must be convicted of their sins and feel grief over them, and be willing to repent and change his/her life style. Without repentance there is no salvation! The conviction of sins is the work of the Holy Spirit, no man in himself has the capacity of understanding sin and grieving over it.

When we accept sin as something normal in our lives, we become carnal Christians. Romans 8:1-8

GOD’S HOLINESS    (Romans 8:5 Bonus Scripture)

Few people have understood what the holiness of God is. Holiness is the total absence of sin!  Isaiah 6:1-7

God is total light - 1 John 1:5; Luke 9:62

God is total truth - Hebrews 6:13-18

God does not tempt man- James 1:13-15; Genesis 3:8-9; John 6:44-45

       [No one has to teach a child to lie.  Why do we lie?  LUST or FEAR]. James, Chapters 1 & 2

There is no evil or sin in God! God is total righteousness! Revelation 19:1-13

God’s people are told to be holy! 1 Peter 1:13-19

We are to walk on the highway of holiness - Isaiah 35:1-10

WITHOUT OBEDIENCE, THERE CAN BE NO HOLINESS!  1 Samuel 15:22-23

Because of sin in Israel, the Lord let the Devil loose to bring judgment! 1 Samuel 24:1; 1 Chronicles 21:1-4

King David did not understand the gravity of his rebellion - Verses 5-30

WAYS OF DISOBEDIENCE

1. Sexual sins - We are not to resist, WE ARE TO FLEE!!!!  1 Corinthians 6:15-20

Movies, television, pornography load a person down with lust! Sports programs are loaded with violence, nudity, profanity and lies.

2. Not giving God our tithes - Malachi 3:6-12

3. Idolatry - Exodus 20:1-6

4. Being substance slaves - addictions to drugs (pharmakia) Romans 6:11-23

The Solution!    SEEK YOU FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD!  Matthew 6:33

                                    Worship in holiness . . . . Psalm 29:1-4

                          Worship in Spirit and in Truth . . . . John 4:23-24

    Do you really have an ear with which to hear ?

        Are you sure you have an ear with which to hear ?

            Are you implementing what you hear ?

When we know the truth and refuse to walk in it, it makes us liars !!!!! 1 John 1:6-10
