EVIL SPIRITS WORKING IN SECRECY
Part Seven - Compiled by John S. Torell

4 August 2002
So you have been through deliverance and after being delivered from turmoil and unrest you felt so light, so free and empty of all ugliness. But as the days go by, it seems like unseen cob webs are stretched around you and your joy level is going down. Your loved ones are telling you that they see no change, you are just as nasty as ever and your deliverance did not take. Demons are whispering to you that God does not love you and that there is no hope for you. Have you lost your deliverance? NO! But the Devil is contesting your freedom and trying to bind you up again. Let us now look upon some of the spirits (not the same as were cast out of you) Satan is sending to snare you again.

ACCUSING SPIRITS (Dealt with in Part One)

CRITICAL SPIRITS (Dealt with in Part Two)

THE SPIRIT OF BITTERNESS (Dealt with in Part Three)

UNLOVING SPIRITS - The Principality of Self - Part A, Part B

UNLOVING SPIRITS - Part C – SATAN’S NATURE SPIRITS

An Unloving spirit secretly attaches itself to the person and then launches attacks against the person’s integrity and self worth. He will tell the person, YOU ARE UNWORTHY, UNCLEAN, SO REJECT YOURSELF! The spirit will speak through the mouth of the person himself making statements like these: No one loves me! I can’t stand myself! Not even God loves me! Why was I born? I want to give up and just die! Old memory tapes of past failures and hurts are constantly being replayed in the mind.

PART SEVEN - FORGIVENESS
Jesus has stated, that if a born again believer in Christ cannot and does not forgive someone who has wronged him, God cannot forgive the believer in Christ. God cannot and will not break His own Word! Matthew 6:14-15; Luke 11:4; Isaiah 55:8-11

The forgiveness Jesus is talking about, is not a "mushy sentimental emotional act," but it is the deliberate act of making a choice, to RELEASE THE HURT, forget the hurt, AND FORGIVE THE PERSON CAUSING THE HURT!

Our understanding of this concept is found in Romans 5:1-10. Jesus makes a strong statement on this subject: Matthew 18:21-35

Anger is caused by unforgiveness! Jesus has stated that anger is unacceptable in the kingdom of God! God does not tolerate anger! Matthew 5:21-26.

Parents who have a stormy relationship, will have children who are angry, resentful, and sick in their souls because they have a hard time to forgive their parents from causing them so much pain in the years of childhood, which should be a person’s most happy and peaceful years. As the child grows older, things are glazed over, but in most cases there was never any forgiveness, so no release! Instead there is a root of bitterness. Hebrews 12:14-15.

Bitterness, one of the Principalities in the kingdom of Satan, has under his command the following demons: Unforgiveness, Resentment, Retaliation, Anger, Hatred, Violence and Murder.

These spirits will cause divorce, heart disease and digestive problems. Cancer is a spirit of rebellion, feeding from the spirit of bitterness. Self-bitterness will destroy a person’s auto-immune system.

Unforgiveness IS A SIN! It leads to destruction and death! Jeremiah 30:12-15; 46:11.

An unforgiving person is a bitter person.

A bitter person is an angry person.

An angry person has no joy, no peace, is always complaining.

A complaining person has lost the divine love of God, and is . . .

Filled with FEAR!

Perfect love casts out all fear! 1 John 4:15-21

While Jesus was in pain, in the process of being nailed to the cross, he made a choice to forgive the soldiers who were driving the nails into his hands and feet! Luke 23:32-46.

Man is petty, proud, easily provoked, irritated at the slightest mishap, snappy and ready to "jump" a person, if he does not meet our expectations! And on top of that, we try to justify our negative feelings! Jesus called such a person a hypocrite, which means "pretender." Matthew 23:1-7

HOW TO BE SET FREE FROM UNFORGIVING SPIRITS

You cannot do this in your own power; it can only be done if you are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. John 7:37-39.

If you have never done this, make a list of all the people who have hurt you, and then ask God to help you to release them, forgive them and forget the hurts. If you say that you have forgiven a person, but every time you have an argument with that person, you bring up all the problems of the past, you HAVE NEVER FORGIVEN THAT PERSON!

If the person you have forgiven is not walking with Jesus, you do not have to fellowship with the person, until there is repentance on his part.

Contact people you have hurt and ask them to forgive you.

Forgive yourself and receive the love of God in your life - Psalm 103:1-22.

Do you have an ear with which to hear?
