GRACE AND HOLINESS

PART FOUR
RLJ-674

July 25, 1999

"NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE WORTHY TO BE MINISTERED TO"

This will sound harsh to some people. If God is love, how can this be.
Jesus used some very harsh terms, "dogs and swine" - Matt.7:6

We are saved by GRACE, but there is no place in the Bible, where it is stated that we can abuse God's GRACE. On the contrary, we are told to guard our faith and cherish the GRACE of God.

The apostle Peter spoke very sternly on this subject - 2 Peter 2:10-22
The apostle Jude did not mince his words - Jude 1-25

It is imperative that we understand THAT ANY CHRISTIAN WHO IS LIVING AND WALKING IN THE FLESH, CANNOT PLEASE GOD! Romans 8:1-9
This is one area, where cheating brings total destruction.
OBEDIENCE TO GOD IS THE KEY TO HAPPINESS John 15:1-7

During the 14th century after Christ a large portion of people died in a plague, that swept across Europe. Its root came from raw sewage - which God had addressed some 3000 years earlier - Deut.23:12-14

Again the words of the prophet Hosea 4:6 stands out like a banner of fire.

Let us now begin to look in detail what the Bible teaches concerning holiness:

1. Do not walk in the vanity of the mind - Eph.4:17-21
2. Our speech must change - verses 22-24
3. There can be no more lying - verse 25
4. Be you angry but sin not - verse 26
5. Give no place to the Devil - verse 27
6. No more stealing - verse 28
7. No corrupt communication - verse 29
