HOW TO PRAY IN GOD’S WILL

June 7, 1998

God is a merciful God, who will even hear prayers from unbelievers. But God has only bound himself in a covenant with those, who have been born again and washed in the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 10:16-23

It is very important that we understand, that the Word of God cannot be broken, but will stand forever. The wicked must forsake his way! Isaiah 55:1-11

We must understand, that God will not void his own Word, it shall stand. Jesus never destroyed the Word of God, instead he established it. Matthew 5:17-19

The Ten Commandments are as valid today as they were 3,500 years ago. Exodus 20:1-17

The blessings and the curses that God laid out for his people at the time the Ten Commandments were given, still stand today:

            Blessings : Deuteronomy 28: 1-13

            Curses : Deuteronomy 28: 14-68

HOW TO PRAY IN THE WILL OF GOD

1. Pray for salvation - 1 Timothy 2: 1-5

2. Jesus gave us a blue print for our daily prayer life - Luke 11:1-4

3. We can only pray in earnestly, when we come with a forgiven heart - Mark 11:22- 26

4. Just as God can only be worshiped in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24) so our prayers must come from a heart that is moving in Spirit and Truth. Ephesians 6:10-18

******************************************

If we want a model prayer, which is known to please God, let us pray according to

the way the early Church prayed: Acts 4:18-31

ARE YOU BORN AGAIN - SAVED?

                ARE YOU LIVING IN FORGIVENESS?

DO YOU HAVE A LIVING PRAYER LIFE?

Revelation 3:14-22
