UNDERSTANDING THE KINGDOM OF GOD
PART TWO

In the first part of this series of sermons we have covered THE CREATION, THE WORLD BEFORE ADAM AND EVE WERE CREATED, and THE CREATION OF ADAM AND EVE. In the second part we are going to take a look at the time from the fall of Adam and Eve into sin, to the flood.

For years, this period of time in the history of man has been neglected, and very few sermons or books have been written about it. As we approach the end times, we need to take heed to what Jesus said: Matthew 24:34-39; Luke 17:26-27

We are also told that as it was in the days of Lot – Rampant homosexuality: Luke 17:28-30

The Bible gives us three chapters, which deal with this period: Genesis 4, 5 and 6

Looking at the Bible, the following information is given to us:

• Murder was introduced to mankind. Genesis 4:1-8

• Angels started to breed through women the offspring of these half breeds brought total evil to the earth and the people living on it. Genesis 6:1-4

• The result was violence and corruption. Genesis 6:5

• God became so angry, that he decided to wipe out all living things, who breathed, except Noah, his sons and wives, and animals, birds, and creeping things that God selected himself. Genesis 6:6-22

Is there any writings from this period, which will give us insight to this period. The answer is yes, the Book of Enoch. I will now insert into this sermon a teaching on the Book of Enoch, which I wrote back in the fall of year 2000.

When we have examined this teaching, you will understand what demon possession and demon oppression is, and that most human beings are to various degrees infested with demons (evil spirits). And we will also learn the GREAT NEWS, that the believer in Christ has the upper hand over these spirits. Luke 10:17-22; Revelation 13:8-18; I Kings 10:14
