TIME TO MOVE ON WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

During the year of 1999 most of our time and resources were spent preparing for the Y2K crisis. Was it a real crisis? Historians in the future will say that it was a possible man made catastrophe facing the civilized world. If the billions of dollars and the millions of man hours spent to fix it had not taken place, the Western world could have crashed. Most of all, Christians around the world were praying and I believe that God held back his hand of judgment to gather more people into the kingdom of God.

Jonah 3:1-10

During the month of October, 1999 a group of people came to our church, They were led by two men, one proclaiming to be an apostle and the other a prophet. Our love was abused and much time, prayer and effort was spent in helping these people through deliverance, which they claimed they needed so desperately. But their leaders had a different agenda, to bring their false doctrine into the church. 2 Peter 2:1-22

Resurrection Life of Jesus lost much strength in this battle before their leader was asked to leave, at which time he took his whole group with him. Titus 3:9-11

The Devil is a master in infiltration, then stealing people’s time and leading some of them astray! Nehemiah 6:1-9

WE AS A CHURCH MUST REPAIR THE WALL GOD HAS GIVEN US!   Nehemiah  6:10-19

1. Before God can give us a new place of worship, we must pay our debt on the old place. 2 Kings 4:1-7
    This also includes the debt we owe on two radio stations, now closed down. Romans 13:8

2. We are no longer to drift, but to focus on the gifts that God has given us and his commission to use them.
     God is looking for men and women, who are willing to build a throne of praise and worship. John 4:21-24           

God is not looking for men to build him entertainment centers, nor does he wants to have a circus! No strange fire, no rock ’n  roll - Leviticus 10:1-7

3. We are to walk in the truth, which is a COMMANDMENT - 1 John 4:1-8

4. We are to witness and lead lost people to salvation - Matthew 28:18-20

During the last few years in the United States, Christianity has not grown; churches have, by people moving from one church to another. This must change!

5. The newly saved and our children must be . . .

    a) Taught God’s Word - The Holy Bible - Matthew 28:20

    b) Taught Church and world history - Deuteronomy 6:5-12

    c) Taught how to pray - Luke 11:1-4

    d) Taught spiritual warfare skills. Ephesians 6:10-18

REMEMBER! It is God who gives us the power to get wealth - Deuteronomy 8:6-18

DON’T BECOME A FOOL!   Luke 12:16-21

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!  Psalm 89:47; Proverbs 18:9; Ecclesiastes 9:12
