Out of some 30,000 followers only 120 loved Jesus - John 6:59-70

God brought some 3 million people out of Egypt. But they did not know God -

Exodus 16:1-3, neither were they interested in knowing Him. Exodus 32:1-9

As far as the people of Israel were concerned, they were not looking for a RELATION-

SHIP WITH GOD, THEY WERE ONLY INTERESTED IN GOD AS A PROVIDER!

Their priorities were: 1) Security; 2) Ample food supplies, including water; 3)Family;

4) General prosperity

Exodus 17:1-4; Numbers 14:1-34; 20:1-13

God told them to remember the Law he had given them - Deut.6:1-25

God told them not to forget him, once they had become blessed - Deut.8:6-20

Because they did not love God, THEY FORGOT THE LAW AND THAT IT WAS GOD WHO HAD GIVEN THEM THE POWER TO BECOME WEALTHY!

Out of the 3 million men, women and children that God brought out of Egypt, only three

(3) LOVED GOD! 1. Moses - Deut.34:7-12; Hebr.3:5

2. Joshua - Exodus 33:11; Joshua 1:1-9

3. Caleb - Numbers 13:30-33; 14:24; Joshua 14:5-13

Aaron was unfaithful in his heart - Exodus 32:19-24

Miriam was jealous - Numbers 12:1-10

God was able to rescue the people of Israel out of Egypt, but BECAUSE

Hebr.3:7-19

King Saul loved himself

King Solomon loved himself

King David loved God - Psalm 62:1-12

WHOM DO YOU LOVE? God or yourself? Your daily life will

testify to whom you love!
