June 29, 1986 Resurrection Life of Jesus Church was birthed in the home of Bob and Rita Jackson. Some six months later the church moved to the Auburn location in Citrus Heights, where it stayed until July 1, 1995, when it was moved to its present location at Madison Avenue in North Highlands. July 1, 1998, our current lease is coming to a close. After 12 years, where is Resurrection Life of Jesus Church going?

People have come and gone. Four assistant pastors have come and gone. During these 12 years some 500 people have been members of the church. Again our church is at a cross road.

HOW DID JESUS SET UP HIS CHURCH?
Jesus knew that his time was very limited. Luke 9:18-22, 28-44

Jesus was looking for some special people to build his church with. Luke 9:23-26, 57-62

At the height of his earthly ministry Jesus had some 30,000 people following him, but only 120 stayed with him and became the foundation of the church - John 6:53-71

The 120 consisted of 11 apostles, 70 other men, and 39 women. Acts 1:15

Jesus told his followers to count the cost! Luke 14:26-35

Jesus expected his followers to be faithful to God. Luke 16:1-13

Jesus invested in the conversion of people, not building an institution.Luke 9:1-6; Luke 10:1-12

What motivated Jesus in reaching out to people? John 3:16-17 AGAPE LOVE!

Whom did Jesus invite to his kingdom? Luke 14:16-24

There is no limit to the kingdom of God! Isaiah 9:6-7

MANY PREACHERS ARE HIDING THE FACT that JESUS IS THE CREATOR, WHICH MEANS THAT JESUS ALSO CREATED HELL AS WELL AS THE LAKE OF FIRE! John 1:1-10; Colossians 1:12-20; Hebrews 1:1-3

The Old Testament gives us the location of hell - Numbers 16:28-35; Isaiah 5:13-15 Only Jesus could tell us what is happening in hell. Luke 16:19-31

HELL IS A REALLY BAD PLACE, BUT THE LAKE OF FIRE WILL MAKE HELL LOOK LIKE A NICE SUNDAY SCHOOL PICK NICK. Revelation 14:9-11, 19:20

God has told us who is going to end up in the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:10-15

Jesus gave a marching order to his church: Mark 16:15-20; Matt.28:18-20

How are we, the believers in Christ who make up Resurrection Life of Jesus Church going to respond, as we again stand at a cross road? GOD HAS A PLAN FOR US! Each one of us must seek God and ask him to reveal His plan to us. This can only be done through prayer and fasting! Are we as a church willing to do that? The answer lies in the heart of each person that makes up the Resurrection Life of Jesus Church.
